Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor presided today over a meeting of the Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) Board of Directors. During the meeting which was also attended by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Hazza praised the role being played by EIDA in the comprehensive development drive. Sheikh Hazza congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on EIDA's10th anniversary and thanked them for their continuous support to the Authority's operation. The board members approved during their meeting a proposal to exempt certain categories from service fees and late fees. they also sanctioned proposals for addition service fees and for the appointment of an external auditor for the Authority's 2014 closing accounts.
