HALOCK and CDGI Launch "Security Integrated," a New Model for Hosting Facilities and Data Centers
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)--
HALOCK Security Labs and Cyber Development Group International (CDGI),
have launched a new joint venture that addresses the biggest costs of
PCI (News - Alert) compliance and represents an entirely new model for hosting and data
facilities: "Security Integrated." "Security Integrated," the service
moniker, is a best-in-class hosting data center with an integrated
security lab within the PCI compliant facility; it is unique in the
Chicago area. The new solution was designed for companies that are
interested in cloud or shared services and require high levels of
security.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requires
strict controls for organizations storing, processing, or transmitting
credit card related data. The cost and complexity of this compliance has
been vexing to many organizations. The Security Integrated model is a
turnkey solution to mitigate this issue and provide a new benchmark in
security. Organizations will find that migrating to the new facility can
have a positive impact on PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO, and other types of
compliance.
"Individually, the data center hosting or security offerings are
powerful - but as a bundled package, our model sets a new standard for
security. Becoming PCI DSS compliant can be a daunting program; with
Security Integrated, compliance is simplified," says Terry Kurzynski,
Senior Partner of HALOCK Security Labs.
"Our integrated lab enables efficient delivery of securty services,
optimizing value while minimizing impact on client time," says Ryan
Bentley, HALOCK's Director of Security Operations.
"Working with HALOCK allowed us to integrate security into the model
from the ground up; we're offering enterprise class security in a world
class data center for a fraction of the cost of most service offerings.
A true 2N, Tier 3+ facility that is SSAE 16 (formerly SAS (News - Alert) 70) and PCI
DSS compliant is unique in the marketplace," says Jack Pressman, founder
and CEO of CDGI.
HALOCK, a PCI Qualified Security Assessor company, has been performing
penetration testing and application security specific testing since the
1990's. HALOCK helped architect the CDGI environment to be PCI compliant
from the beginning, as well as integrate the security lab for efficient,
high speed delivery. HALOCK's onsite security lab ensures that
businesses can alleviate the pain of some of the 200 plus requirements
for PCI DSS compliance by moving into the data center, while maintaining
highly available and secure information assets.
CDGI engineers have been building data centers for many years with over
3 million square feet of data center build to their credit. CDGI
constructed true 2N, Tier 3 + infrastructure into its facilities where
redundancy is the name of the game. 2N infrastructure ensures that a
true A and B feed are available at all times, and multiple redundancies
within each level guarantee that there is no single point of failure
within any of the A or B subsystems.
