Growth Sparks Expansion of DCT Telecom Group Service Delivery Team


WESTLAKE, Ohio, Feb. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DCT Telecom Group, Inc. (DCT), a Cleveland based Internet Service Provider (ISP) and leader in business class cloud, data and voice solutions, announces the expansion of its in-house engineering and operations team with the hiring of six professionals.

Dave Satterfield joins DCT as Manager, Service Delivery.  In this key role Mr. Satterfield is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service delivery team.  This includes scheduling and managing a team of engineering technicians and associates who are responsible for configuring, deploying, testing and troubleshooting network and voice solutions for DCT customers.  In addition, Mr. Satterfield will assist in solution design and operational improvement to ensure a seamless deployment process.    

Mr. Satterfield has over 38 years of IT project management experience working with governmental agencies, the Department of Defense and in the commercial sector, including 20 years of network operations expertise. He holds PMP and Security Plus certifications and joins DCT from a leading IT services organization focused on cloud computing, security and mobility solutions.  His experience providing project management for multi-location clients and determining the requirements, methodologies and technologies necessary to implement secure and sustainable solutions will enable him to quickly contribute to the delivery of advanced services for our customers.

DCT's operational expansion includes the addition of Tom Retallick and Randy Adams as Engineering Technicians.  Collaborating closely with the DCT engineering and project management teams, Mr. Retallick and Mr. Adams are responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of customized solutions for DCT customers through the on-site configuration, testing and installation of key technical components, incluing Wide Area Networks, network equipment, IP phones, SIP services, cloud-based computing, and PBXs.



Mr. Retallick is an accomplished technical professional with a background in IT systems support, maintenance, project leadership and technical training.  He holds Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications in routing, switching and voice and has significant experience in voice/data network monitoring, troubleshooting and remote repair. He comes to DCT from a leading network integrator and field service engineering organization.

Mr. Adams has 20 years of experience managing both network and telecommunications projects in large, multi-site environments.  His knowledge and troubleshooting of phone equipment, technical analysis of network equipment, and experience proactively monitoring customer network environments make him a valuable asset in DCT's 24x7x365 support model.  Mr. Adams holds CCNA certifications in routing and switching, voice, and security, and joins DCT from the network engineering team of a major specialty chemical organization. 


Mike Kovachik, Dave Bostwick and Jacob Morse join the DCT team as Associate Engineering Technicians. As integral members of the service delivery team, they are responsible for the installation and configuration of key technical components, on-site and remote troubleshooting, solution development and IT support.  They will ensure the proper operation, connectivity and performance of DCT network and voice solutions while fulfilling the exceptional service DCT strives to provide all customers.  Mr. Kovachik brings a combination of organizational, analytical and project management skills to DCT, along with significant experience in phone system administration and desktop support.  Mr. Bostwick is an experienced field technician, working in the installation and troubleshooting of network devices and cabling. His background includes routers, switches, LAN/WAN protocol and network security.  Mr. Morse joins DCT from the U.S. Army where he served as an Information Technology Specialist, gaining hands-on experience in the administration and support of Cisco routers and call managers, and Windows operating systems.
