Grandstream Announces Revolutionary Video Conferencing System Now Available for Beta Testing

This upcoming video conferencing system will be on display this week in Grandstream's booth at three prominent industry trade shows: CeBIT Hannover (March 16-20, Hannover Exhibition Grounds, Hannover, Germany - hall 13 stand C65), Enterprise Connect (March 16-19, Gaylord Palms, Orlando, FL, USA - booth 1811) and Channel Partners Conference and Expo (March 16-18, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV, USA - booth 358).

The Grandstream Beta Club is now taking applications for its most groundbreaking product yet for eternal Beta testing - a powerful video conferencing system running the Android (News - Alert) operating system. The product will be one-of-a-kind in the video conferencing market, and has the potential to be a disruptive game changer for visual collaborations for businesses of all sizes. This video conferencing system will be the first of its kind in Grandstream's product portfolio and announces Grandstream's strategic entry into the video collaborations market in the near future. We're excited to gather feedback from beta testers to help fine-tune the most promising new product before its official launch in the market.



The Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers with extensive experience in state-of-the-art video conferencing products and technologies. More importantly, the Beta Club is looking for testers with innovative ideas that can help redefine the way in which visual conferencing and collaboration is used in the marketplace. Grandstream will be selecting the most talented and experienced testers available and encourages all those interested to apply.

The newest product being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is a transformative HD videoconference system designed for the modern web application era. The device runs on the Android 4.4 operating system, with native support for open-standard SIP, as well as various popular telephony & conferencing applications such as Skype (News - Alert)TM, Microsoft Lync® Mobile 2013, and Google Hangouts. The device sports a sophisticated hardware-accelerated ISP (Image Signal Processing) engine, a remotely controllable wide-angle PTZ camera with 12x optical zoom, Gigabit network port, integrated dual-band Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, and an industry-leading embedded MCU that supports up to 4-way 1080p HD conferencing and remote screen sharing. It fully supports advanced video and wideband audio codec such as H.264 High Profile and Opus, which is a WebRTC standard. Twenty units of this product will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by mid-April, 2015.


Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club has a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is open to anyone and is FREE. Grandstream will select beta testers based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate is $1 to cover handling, however, the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each active beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
