Govt plans to extend cell-phone network in 3 hill districts

Dhaka, Dec 31, 2009 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) --
The government has decided to extend the cell-phone network in three hill districts.
As per the decision, the extension works would be implemented in Barkal and Baghaichari of Rangamati district, said a BTRC press release today (Wednesday).



The government introduced mobile phone network in the municipality areas of Khagrachhari, Bandarban and Rangamati districts on May 15 this year to bring a change in the lifestyle of the people.
