Glassdoor Names Health Catalyst a Top 15 US Workplace for Second Year; CEO Dan Burton Earns Highest Approval Rating Among Digital Health LeadersSALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year in a row, Health Catalyst, a leader in healthcare data warehousing, analytics and outcomes improvement, has earned the 2017 Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award recognizing the "Best Places to Work" in the nation based solely on employee feedback. Additionally, Health Catalyst CEO Dan Burton earned the highest job approval rating among leaders of digital health companies nationally, based on anonymous employee surveys on Glassdoor.com. His 99 percent approval rating prompted Rock Health this week to name Burton the winner of its annual "Most Beloved CEO" award for 2017. Glassdoor ranked Health Catalyst the 11th best place to work in the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) category, which includes U.S. companies with fewer than 1,000 employees. Health Catalyst was the only company among the list's top 25 companies to have been listed in the top 25 last year, when it ranked 7th. The Glassdoor Employees' Choice Awards program, now in its ninth year, relies solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor. Before naming the winners, Glassdoor reviewed over 1.6 million individual surveys on more than 445,000 businesses. Regional Awards Confirm Top Workplace Status Additionally, The Salt Lake Tribune in late November named Health Catalyst the No. 3 "Top Workplace" among medium-sized companies in the Salt Lake City region—the third year in a row that the company has ranked in the top three among regional employers. Results are based on WorkplaceDynamics' surveys of employees on factors including pay and benefits, and their sense of connection to co-workers. "We at Health Catalyst recognize the direct relationship between fulfilling our mission to enable massive improvement in healthcare outcomes, and our ability to attract and retain the best and brightest team members in our areas of expertise," said Burton. "To accomplish this, we must create and then maintain the best place to work for our team members. That is why it is so meaningful to be recognized by Glassdoor, by the Salt Lake Tribune and by Utah Business, as a best place to work. I also feel humbled and deeply honored to be named the Most Beloved CEO in Digital Health by Rock Health. I feel so thankful to each of my colleagues at Health Catalyst who make this such a great company. It is an honor to work alongside these teammates each day as we strive to make positive contributions in healthcare." The Glassdoor Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between November 2, 2015 and November 1, 2016. To be considered for the SMB category, a company must have less than 1,000 employees and have received at least 25 company reviews from U.S.-based employees during the window of eligibility. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor's proprietary algorithm, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews. The Rock Health Most Beloved CEO award will be delivered at the Top 50 in Digital Health dinner. Each year, Rock Health, Fenwick & West, Goldman Sachs, and Square One Bank bring together 50 of the leading entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, reporters, and providers dedicated to delivering technological advancements to healthcare. This year's event will take place on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Fairmont San Francisco. About Health Catalyst About Glassdoor Logo - http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20140217/MM66628LOGO
