Germany : HARTING offers HA-VIS MIDDLEWARE for easy and flexible integration of UHF RFID readers in projects [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) HARTING is offering the Ha-VIS Middleware for the easy and flexible consolidation of UHF RFID readers in projects. A facilitated consolidation of UHF RFID readers into SAP based projects is also supported. The HARTING Ha-VIS Middleware is built around the GS1 EPCglobal's open standard ALE 1.1. A lot of useful functionalities such as read/write operations, filtering, triggers and more are defined by this standard. In addition the way to interact with these functionalities from external software is also specified. The standard ensures a strong, dependable, well documented and testable basis, which the GS1 EPCglobal maintains and develops. The HARTING Ha-VIS Middleware fully meets the ALE 1.1 standard. As against the obsolete pre version the ALE 1.0, the actual ALE 1.1 defines a lot more useful functionalities particularly the way of writing data into transponders. The conformity also has been accredited by the GS1 EPCglobal now. HARTING has successfully completed the official accreditation process of the GS1 EPCglobal in August 2014.
