Gabelli Securities Names Salvatore Sodano as Vice Chairman [Manufacturing Close - Up]


(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Gabelli Securities reported that Salvatore F. Sodano has joined its board of directors as Vice Chairman, increasing the board to seven members.

In its release, Gabelli Securities said Sodano, Chairman & CEO of Worldwide Capital Advisory Partners, was formerly Chairman & CEO of the American Stock Exchange and Vice Chairman of the NASD, where he previously had served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.



Sodano was also Chairman of Hofstra University's Board of Trustees and subsequently became Dean of its Frank G. Zarb School of Business from 2006 to 2010. Sodano received his graduate and undergraduate degrees at Hofstra University.
