Fujitsu Introduces the Ventur Cash and Coin Handling Platform, Enabling Retail Integrators to Quickly Deploy Currency Management Solutions

Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leader in innovative technology and front-end solutions is pleased to announce the availability of a new and flexible hardware platform that supports cash and coin handling for a multitude of currency management applications. The new currency management platform, branded FUJITSU Retail Solution VenturTM, is engineered for integrators and OEMs who want to lower their development costs while speeding time to market with their end solutions. Available in single component or multi-component configurations, the Ventur platform is designed to support self-service and assisted service applications in the Retail and Convenience Store markets. To see a demonstration of the Ventur platform, please visit Fujitsu's (News - Alert) booth, number 3905 at the National Retail Federation Convention and Expo, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City, January 15-17, 2017.

The Ventur platform gives OEMs that sell into the retail and convenience store sectors an opportunity to easily source a U.L. business hour or 24-hour rated enclosure that is 100% life-cycle managed by Fujitsu. In addition, integrators and OEMs have the option of branding the Ventur platform under the Fujitsu brand, or white label to customize the end solution for their individual customer. The Ventur platform supports Fujitsu's State-of-the-Art currency handling components like the G60 or GSR50 bill recycling units, the F53 bill dispensing unit and the most popular third-party coin handling devices. The low profile design of the enclosure and ruggedized slide rails make it an deal solution for installation under counters or in counters, for use in the front of store for customer facing configurations or in back office applications.

"The introduction of the Ventur platform moves traditional OEMs and integrators further up the value chain by offering them a go-to-market-ready platform," according to Randy Fox, vice president, Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. "In addition, with Fujitsu's newly developed SDK in middleware with tools to more closely monitor and diagnose system issues, OEMs and integrators can more easily integrate their application software thereby shortening time to market and lowering overall costs." Adding a Fujitsu TeamPoS® All-in-One, Impulse™ unit or third party CPU, enables OEMs to be market-ready more quickly with a lower cost self-checkout device, payment terminal or smart safe application.

Fujitsu's entire product family of OEM currency handling products have the quality, reliability, and advanced feature functionality required to offer true value-add and control the up-front design and recurring product support / maintenance cost. Fujitsu offers OEM currency dispensers like the F50, F53, F56, F400, F510, and bulk currency acceptors and currency recyclers like the G60, G610/611, and the G750L, for a wide range of budget, volume and configuration requirements.
