Fixmo to support BlackBerry Mobile Fusion MDM solution

Apr 06, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Mobile risk management company Fixmo announced on Thursday its support for customers deploying the new BlackBerry Mobile Fusion mobile device management (MDM) solution from Research In Motion (Nasdaq:RIMM).

The company said that its device integrity, compliance, data security and encryption solutions integrate with BlackBerry Enterprise Server and now support Android and iOS devices managed by BlackBerry Mobile Fusion.

Customers can now make use of BlackBerry Mobile Fusion to manage all BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices connected to the corporate network, with MDM capabilities such as policy assignment, user management, inventory management and remote lock/wipe commands.


Fixmo's mobile risk management (MRM) platform complements Mobile Fusion by providing additional device integrity monitoring and compromise detection, vulnerability assessment and auditable compliance reporting. The solution also includes Fixmo SafeZone, a defence-grade secure sandbox solution for iOS and Android devices that keeps corporate e-mail, documents, browsing and applications encrypted and contained from personal data.
