[November 22, 2009] Final bulletin: Roscoe to go on a high note Tweet Nov 22, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Ian Ross, news presenter for the main bulletin at 6pm in Sydney for the Seven Network, is about to retire. He had been engaged in 2003 to help take the ratings lead from rival Nine Network, which has been achieved and maintained. Ross was being paid salaries of $A1m and above per annum to keep him at Seven, and lately has been working four-day weeks only. He notes that he is a journalist rather than just a newsreader, and that this is how the industry now functions.
