*** MILITARY $6.95 Million Federal Contract Awarded to Boeing WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- Boeing Co., St. Louis, was awarded a $6,948,500 federal contract modification by the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, for Phase C1 of the F/A-18 A-D Airframe Service Life Extension Program. The effort will include seven flight critical engineering change proposals for fracture and maintenance critical areas of the airframe.
