F-Secure Offers New Program for VARs(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) F-Secure, a provider of security service subscriptions, announced the launch of a new Quick Start program for its F-Secure Protection Service for Business. The new program, available through F-Secure in North America, enables VARs to begin offering security as a service to their small and medium sized business customers in two weeks or less. F-Secure Protection Service for Business is a comprehensive and automated security solution providing constantly updated protection against the latest Internet-based threats through a subscription service. F-Secure stated that this enables hassle-free 24/7 online protection for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) with minimal IT intervention and resources. "We developed F-Secure Protection Service for Business specifically for value-added resellers," said Curtis Cresta, Vice President and General Manager, North American Operations at F-Secure. "F-Secure has spent many years working with over 170 broadband service providers to deliver security to millions of subscribers. Nuspire Networks, Abacus IT and Precision Computer Services are among several resellers already using F-Secure Protection Service for Business. For example, Nuspire Networks uses F-Secure Protection customers across the United States from Internet security threats. Abacus IT is one of F-Secure's newest reseller partners offering F-Secure Protection Service for Business to its small business customers.
