Euronet Worldwide Makes Management Changes in Its e-pay U.K. Prepaid Subsidiary

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Euronet Worldwide, Inc., an electronic payments provider, has announced
the appointment of Tony Westlake as chief operating officer of the
Company's Prepaid segment and the addition of Nicholas L.A. Kennett
(Nick Kennett), who succeeds Westlake as managing director of e-pay
Ltd, Euronet's prepaid subsidiary in the United Kingdom.

Both Westlake and Kennett will report to Gareth Gumbley, managing
director of Euronet's Prepaid segment and will be based in London.

As chief operating officer for the Company's Prepaid segment, Westlake
will retain his current financial responsibilities and will also assume
responsibility for the operational activities of Euronet's global
prepaid operations. Previously, Westlake served as managing director of
e-pay U.K. and as chief financial officer of Euronet's Prepaid segment.
Westlake joined e-pay at its inception in 1999 and was responsible for
implementing financial, accounting and operational processes for all
e-pay operating countries, which form the foundation of Euronet's
Prepaid segment.

Prior to e-pay, Westlake held leadership roles in finance at Baker
Tilly, the seventh largest firm of chartered accountants in the U.K.
and at Kitcat & Aitken, a medium sized firm of stockbrokers and has
more than 20 years of financial and corporate experience.

As the new managing director of e-pay U.K., Nick Kennett will be
responsible for managing the growth and profitability of e-pay U.K.
prepaid operations while continuing to expand its technical and product
portfolio. Kennett has acquired strong professional credentials having
worked for more than 20 years in the financial services and payments
industry in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to joining Euronet, Kennett was general manager and senior vice
president of strategic business development at Visa Asia-Pacific. He
was responsible for developing the corporate and regional strategy for
Visa Asia-Pacific, which included playing a key role in the
inter-regional negotiations that established Visa Inc. He was also
accountable for developing Visa's strategy for key Asian markets as
well as being accountable for processing, acceptance, interchange and
consulting support. Also, Kennett held a director position on the
MasterCard International Asia-Pacific and the MasterCard Global
Debit/Maestro Boards from 2000-2003.

Earlier this year, Kennett established ITM Consulting, a strategy
consulting firm focusing on strategic issues facing participants in the
payments value chain. Kennett's work experience also includes serving
as a director of Edgar, Dunn & Company, a specialist payment consulting
firm in London and as executive general manager of retail customer
services at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Sydney. Kennett holds
a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in economics, history and politics
and a Master of Business Administration in international business and
finance from CASS Business School, London.
