(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
Video Display Corp. announced that its Aydin Displays, Inc., subsidiary
has been awarded a significant contract with options by EUROCONTROL for
the supply of the company's Model 30281, 28" 2k x 2k Air Traffic
Control Displays for deployment in Budapest, Hungary.

This follows the awards of a number of contracts for the Model 30281
since the beginning of 2007 that total over 300 of these very high-end
Air Traffic Control (ATC) displays. The rapid international acceptance
and deployment of the Model 30281 displays has established Aydin
Displays, Inc. as one of the world's largest suppliers of this type of
ATC monitor.

EUROCONTROL is the European Organization for the Safety of Air
Navigation. This Organization, with 38 member states, has as its
primary objective the development of a seamless, pan-European Air
Traffic Management system.

EUROCONTROL selected Aydin's Model 30281 after full and open
competition with all major ATC display suppliers around the world. The
high quality of the 2048 x 2048 image, the attractive pricing and low
maintenance costs, and a successful history with Aydin all contributed
to EUROCONTROL's decision.

The Model 30281 offers superior performance. With its multiple inputs,
including BNC, DVI, and dual link DVI, the 30281 is 100percent
compatible with the old Sony standard air traffic control DDM displays.
Furthermore, the 30281 offers automatic detection and alignment to all
standard VESA signals, along with a contrast ratio of 1000:1.

Video Display Corp. designs, develops and manufactures unique solutions
for display requirements for military, medical and industrial uses with
emphasis on high-end training and simulation applications.
