EU membership just doesn't add up for us [Sunday Mercury (England)]

(Sunday Mercury (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) I HAVE for a number of years been concerned with the United Kingdom's association with the European Union.

Besides the open borders, which allow tens of thousands of immigrants to pour into our country each year, altering the culture and stability of our nation, there are major faults with the proposed ever closer union.

Our net contribution is apparently over 12,000,000,000 euros per year. Presumably paid for by British tax-payers. Marta Adreasen was employed in January 2002 by the European Commission as Chief Accountant. Apparently when the books were handed to her to be signed off there was a 20,000,000,000 euro shortfall in the carry forward figure for 2003. When Marta asked where the money had gone, the explanation given was 'poor lending to Third World countries.' .' When she asked for evidence to support this, none could be found.

At today's date the EU accounts have still not been verified.
