[November 09, 2009] 'EU ICT/CE market to drop 0.5% in 2010 - EITO study' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The European ICT and consumer electronics market is expected to stabilises during the coming years, with a 0.5 percent drop to EUR 714 billion in 2010, according to a report by European Information Technology Observatory (EITO). For this year, the EU ICT/CE market is expected to decrease by 2.2 percent to EUR 718 billion. The IT market is expected to grow by 0.6 percent to more than EUR 300 billion in 2010, following a 2.6 percent drop in 2009, while the telecom revenues are expected to drop 0.7 percent during this year to EUR 361 billion.
