Emerging Solutions Executives to Speak at COLLABORATE 12

Emerging Solutions, a subsidiary of Emtec, Inc. (OTCQB: ETEC), today announced that two of its executives will speak at COLLABORATE 12, a technology and applications forum for the Oracle (News - Alert) community, on April 22-26 in Las Vegas, Nevada. PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Director, Jon Given is presenting on "PeopleSoft Testing Framework: Leverage PTF in Your Next Upgrade, Implementation or Support Project," and HCM Practice Manager, Daniel Schnake is speaking on how to "Utilize the Approval Workflow Engine in HCM."

As Director of the PeopleSoft Financials practice, Jon's responsibility includes the overall development and execution of the PeopleSoft financials practice. His team manages all delivery of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain projects. Jon works closely with clients to help develop project scope, timelines and resources.

As Manager of the HCM Practice, Dan manages a team of skilled consultants focused on Oracle applications with an emphasis on PeopleSoft HCM. Dan's experience in the Information Technology field spans 18 years. He is a subject matter expert in PeopleSoft HCM upgrades, implementations and business process improvement.

PTF works by replicating the actions of a single user executing functional tests within PeopleSoft, records the procedures and save them within the framework to replay as needed in the future. This presentation will focus on how to best leverage the PTF in your next project involving testing, PTF tips and tricks, and when to avoid using the PTF.

  Description: The Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) allows organizations greater flexibility in configuring and managing workflow for organizations. During this presentation, we will review the basics of setting up, configuring and using approval workflow using the AWE. An overview of the HCM delegation framework will also be given. After the general review, we will discuss the specific use of AWE in the HCM modules of Talent Acquisition Management, ePerformance, Time and Labor, and eProfile Manger Desktop (Manager Self-Service). Finally, we will discuss how you can register your own transactions so that you can use AWE for that workflow too.
