DVDFab Media Player 2.2.00 for Mac: Convert the Video You're Watching

On Dec. 16, 2014, DVDFab Media Player, the industry leader when it comes to Blu-ray playback solution, released an updated ver. 2.2.00 of its Mac Blu-ray video player. This newer version allows users, for the first time, to convert the video being watched into compatible formats for playback on selected Apple (News - Alert) devices, by working in conjunction with another homebrew free tool DVDFab Video Converter Lite for Mac. Those apple devices include selected iPod/Apple TV models, and all the iPhone (News - Alert)/iPad models to date. Accompanying this are some other bug fixes and improvements as well.

Would it be wonderful to convert a video while watching it with a media player? Why not! Now this idea has been a reality on the newly released DVDFab Media Player for Mac 2.2.00, Pro version. According to DVDFab's official statement, this newest iteration offers Mac fans a more straightforward way to convert the videos being watched for playback on Apple devices, like iPods, iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs, by working together with another cost-ree "plug-in" tool, DVDFab Video Converter Lite for Mac. The entire conversion process literally takes only one step, or just a handful of mouse clicks, thanks to the simple but neat interface design on both the Mac video player software and the video converter application.

At the player's end, users just need to click the "Convert" button at the Playback Control Dock, the one right next to the "Next Chapter" button, and then they will be directed to the video converter's interface, where all they need to do is to decide whether to convert the entire video or just to start from the current playback point, select a target conversion profile from the optimized profile library, and then trigger the conversion. During the entire process, no other complicated setting is involved, one procedure leads naturally to the next one, a living example which best explains simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

DVDFab Video Converter Lite for Mac can also be used independently as a separate program. But in that situation, it will only convert common videos of various formats and only has the option to convert the entire piece of the source video; however, working side by side with DVDFab Media Player Pro, users will be able to convert DVD and Blu-ray ISO image files and folders, and to start the conversion from the current playback point as well.
