Drones to capture Expo 2015 construction progress [ANSA](ANSA Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (ANSA) - Milan, September 22 - Italian telecommunications giant Telecom will use drones to broadcast construction progress in preparation for Milan Expo 2015, event organizers said on Monday. Telecom invested 43 million euros in the project, which will fly drones over areas under construction, taking videos weekly from September 2014 to April 2015 to be shown at the Expo Gate center, TIM4Expo center, and online. "The operation is one of transparency, as well as communication," said Expo Institutional Affairs director Roberto Arditti. Expo 2015 Commissioner Giuseppe Sala had previously expressed concern about construction progress but last Friday said he was no longer worried and that "only a very limited number of countries are delayed.
