Dollar General installs Spacenet's SkyEdge VSAT technologySep 12, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd, a provider of satellite networking technology, solutions and services, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Spacenet Inc, a provider of managed network and data security services, has equipped its 10,000th Dollar General store with Spacenet's SkyEdge VSAT technology. Spacenet has been working with Dollar General since 2001 and has equipped all 10,000+ Dollar General locations with Spacenet VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) satellite connectivity. Spacenet's VSAT provides all the store's broadband connectivity prior to the deployment of terrestrial-based broadband.
