CHICAGO, Sep 14, 2006 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) --Missouri's corn harvest is ahead of normal, with production better than expected after hot and dry weather earlier in the growing season, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service and other industry sources.

Argentina House Alters Flour VAT; Wheat Exporters Worried
BUENOS AIRES (Dow Jones)--Argentina's House of Representatives voted late Wednesday to decrease the value added tax, or VAT, on wheat flour from 21% to 10.5%, and impose a 10.5% VAT on bread. Bread currently carries no VAT, while wheat sales carry a 10.5% VAT.

Indian States Forecast Crop Losses On Erratic Rains

Bunge North America sold 15,000 metric tons at $201.89 per ton, 7,500 metric tons at $200.78 per ton, and 7,500 metric tons at $200.31 per ton.
