Digital Defense Launches CyberSecurity Seminar Series


Jun 19, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Digital Defense, a provider of information security governance, risk management, and compliance solutions, announced the inaugural "CyberSecurity Summer Seminar Series." According to a release, this series of informative seminars on current topics in information and network security are free to the public and include expert speakers from within the organization.



The seminar series will feature three separate events on June 23, July 20 and August 24.

Topics include: -- Cloud Computing: Implications for your security governance, Risk Management and Compliance -- Hidden threats in your IT environment -- Getting Started with PCI-DSS Compliance "We have been in business in San Antonio for ten years and we are always looking for ways to give back to the community," said Larry Hurtado, CEO Digital Defense. "The velocity of change and the pace of the introduction of new regulations and vulnerabilities are a challenge to keep up with for large and small enterprises alike. This is a way that we can help businesses in the community stay informed and at the cutting edge of developments in our industry." The seminars will be held at Aldaco's at Sunset Station from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include lunch. Pre-registration is required.
