Dell acquires Make Technologies


May 24, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Dell, Inc. has acquired MAKE Technologies, Inc., a Canada-based provider of Java-based SOA (service-oriented architecture) solutions.

Dell is a US-based manufacturer of desktop PCs, servers, networking products, software and peripherals.

Announcement (April 5, 2012): Dell has signed a definitive agreement to acquire MAKE Technologies.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2012.
