Cypress Sharpridge Investments is Among the Companies in the Mortgage REITs Industry With the Highest Return on Equity (CYS, CIM, IVR, HTS, CMO)

Feb 14, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Mortgage REITs industry with the highest return on equity. The ROE is a general indication of the company's efficiency; investors usually look for companies with ROEs that are high and are growing.Cypress Sharpridge Investments ranks highest with a ROE of 25.2%. Chimera Investment is next with a ROE of 16.1%. Invesco Mortgage Capital ranks third highest with a ROE of 14.9%.

Hatteras Financial follows with a ROE of 12.6%, and Capstead Mortgage rounds out the top five with a ROE of 11.8%.
