[July 17, 2009] CounterPath technology licensed by Genesys Tweet (Corporate IT Update Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Desktop and mobile VoIP software provider CounterPath Corporation (TSX-V:CCV) (OTCBB:CPAH) announced on Thursday that Genesys will integrate its Software Development Kit (SDK) into its Agent Desktop product suite. According to the company, Genesys will use CounterPath's C++ Edition SDK to create Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) endpoint connection functionality. As part of its desktop software, the new SIP endpoint connection helps Genesys customers to extend VoIP services to their call centres. In addition, members of the Genesys developer community will be able to integrate the SIP endpoint connection to customise and deploy their own applications.
