Constable injured in encounter(Balochistan Times (Pakistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A constable was injured in an exchange of fire between police and criminals in a village in Mamoon Kanjan police limits late Saturday night. A police team led by SHO Mamoon Kanjan police Zafar along with Eagle squad raided Chak No 509-GB to arrest accused Anwar alias Anoo for recovery of a cell phone snatched during a dacoity. The family members of the accused opened fire on the police team which also retaliated. As a result, a bullet hit constable Hafiz Tanveer Ahmed. The SHO called for more police, but the accused fled. |
