Comtech Secures Movement Tracking System Orders

Comtech Telecommunications announced that its Maryland-based
subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom, received orders totaling $5.6
million under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the
U.S. Army.

Total orders received to date against the $605.1 million MTS contract
increased to $126.0 million.

The orders are for the supply of satellite network bandwidth, satellite
network operations management, program management, and technical
support services in support of ongoing MTS program activities in the
United States and abroad.

Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech
Telecommunications, said, "These orders illustrate the importance of
Comtech's satellite network, satellite network operations management,
program management, and technical support services in providing
turn-key satellite tracking and communication systems for the U.S.
Army's MTS Program. We look forward to supporting the future
communication requirements of the MTS Program and other critical
Department of Defense programs."

Comtech Mobile Datacom is engaged in the provision of satellite-based
packet data communication systems and location and messaging services
through the use of advanced communication and network technology.
