Comprehend Systems Hosts Health IT Discussion

Clinical data insights company Comprehend today announced it will be hosting a networking event focused on the challenges and opportunities in the healthcare IT space.

Scheduled for Friday, April 25th, 5:00-7:00 pm PT at Comprehend Systems headquarters in Redwood City, Calif., topics and speakers will include:

• "Health IT in the Hospital," by Dr. Bassam Kadry, assistant professor at the Department of Anesthesiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Kadry will discuss his expertise in HIT evalution, purchasing, implementations and support, where his research efforts focus on the role of information technology on the delivery of care.
• "How to Engage Physicians in Technology," by Dr. Gautam Sivakumar, founder and CEO of Medisas. Dr. Sivakumar will share insight on technology, specifically cloud software for hospitals, and the importance of improving patient care transitions.
• "Impactful Health IT," by Comprehend CEO Rick Morrison. Morrison will share insight on healthcare start-ups, specifically the challenges and career opportunities in the life sciences and healthcare space.
