Commission Approves Amended Complaint in "Robocall" CaseJun 03, 2009 (FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION DOCUMENTS AND PUBLICATIONS/ContentWorks via COMTEX) -- Commission Approves Amended Complaint in "Robocall" Case The FTC has amended the complaint in the action currently pending against Voice Touch, Inc., adding Voice Foundations, LLC as a defendant. The original complaint, filed in May 2009, charged the defendants with operating a massive telemarketing scheme that used random, pre-recorded phone calls to deceive consumers into thinking that their vehicle's warranty is about to expire. The Commission vote authorizing the staff to file the amended complaint was 4-0.
