[August 19, 2008] Comcast Declares Dividend Tweet (Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Comcast announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.0625 a share on the company's common stock. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 29, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on October 8. Comcast is a provider of entertainment, information and communication products and services. With 24.6 million cable customers, 14.4 million high-speed Internet customers, and 5.6 million Comcast Digital Voice customers, Comcast is principally involved in the development, management and operation of broadband cable systems and in the delivery of programming content.
