Code Unveils CortexRM at HIMSS 2012

Feb 24, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Code Corp., a provider of the design and manufacturing of image-based bar code readers, announced that it has launched its newest software product, CortexRM, at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2012 conference.

According to a release, CortexRM is a remote device management software interface which provides instant visibility and control of a Code bar code reader, no matter where it is located, ultimately reducing time, cost and on-site service calls associated to reader management.

"The ability for our clients to track, upgrade and secure their hardware investment is critical," said Garrett Russell, Vice President of Global Marketing of Code. "CortexRM allows an IT administrator to track a single reader, or a fleet of readers, at any time from anywhere with a PC and internet connection." CortexRM is designed to work with third-party remote management applications, giving an IT administrator the ability to quickly integrate with existing work flows without the need for a secondary tool to manage only bar code readers.
