COA Solutions Acquires Inca Planning Software

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Business applications software provider, COA Solutions (www.coasolutions.com), today announces that it has acquired the intellectual property rights (IPR) for Inca Planning. Inca Planning - an advanced multidimensional planning, reporting and forecasting solution, was acquired from Inca Technology International Limited (in administration). This acquisition provides COA Solutions with an application software product thatmanages the process of producing budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for mid-market commercial sector organisations.

Inca Planning (now rebranded by COA Solutions as ClearView Planner), is a 'best of breed' product built on Microsoft's .NET Framework. Providing a more effective and real-time alternative to spreadsheet based solutions, ClearView Planner is being fully integrated into COA Solutions' Smart Business Suite. This integration meets demand from commercial sector customers for integrated enterprise modeling across areas such as headcount analysis, resource planning and rolling forecasts.

Mark Thompson, Managing Director of COA Solutions, says "Our acquisition of ClearView Planner is a direct response to growing demand for budgeting and planning solutions. In the current economic climate, the ability to reforecast and tightly manage rolling forecasts is essential." The integration between COA Solutions' Smart Business Suite and Clearview Planner will be available to customers before the end of December 2009. Former customers of Inca Technology International Limited have all been offered new support contracts by COA Solutions.
