Chamber to Thank Educators During School Choice Week; City Council, Mayor to Attend


The North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation will host an Educator Thank You Breakfast at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at the Chamber offices.

During the breakfast, Mayor Hatley will present her proclamation of Jan. 21-27 being National School Choice Week.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2018, which will feature more than 32,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

"The North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation is proud to support programs that recognize civic, cultural, and educational opportunities. So, we felt that it would be a great benefit to recognize National School Choice Week, which promotes the choice of education options," said Claire Yoder. "We encourage those with children of school age to look into what education options are available to you and make sure you choosethe best fit for your child and family. The North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation appreciates the ability to help promote positive education choices which will allow our city grow and prosper."



The Chamber offices are located at 1521 Hwy 17 S. in North Myrtle Beach.
