Central Logic Names Healthcare Veteran to Executive Advisory Board


Central Logic, a leading provider of innovative transfer center, on-call scheduling solutions, today, announced the addition of healthcare industry veteran Rick Malik to its executive advisory board. Malik is the senior vice president and general manager for Lean Solutions at Healthcare Performance Partners.

Central Logic established the Executive Advisory Board in late 2016. The advisory board works to develop, broaden and expand the company's solutions to provide greater visibility into the entire patient care continuum.

"The depth of Rick's industry knowledge and experience is an immediate asset to the advisory board," said Central Logic President and CEO Jennifer Holmes. "He has served in a variety of roles across the healthcare spectrum and brings a strong capacity management expertise that will help drive Central Logic toward our goals and expectations. Malik held several consulting and sales leadership roles in the medical diagnostic & device arena before moving to work with Johnson & Johnson. There, he began as a regional health systems executive in the northeast and went on to lead a Worldwide Lean Healthare Consulting organization where he was responsible for profit and loss (P&L) management, business strategy development, sales, marketing, consulting, training and management of consulting resources globally.

Malik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Slippery Rock University and spent eight years at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Clinical Laboratories.


He is the seventh member of Central Logic's Advisory Board joining Board Chair Dr. Barry Chaiken (DocsNetwork. LTD., founder) and board members Gene Thomas (Memorial Hospital Chief Information Officer), Dr. Abraham Warshaw (New York healthcare executive), Dane DeLozier (entrepreneur), Collin Lane (Carolinas Healthcare System Vice President) and John O'Shea (News - Alert) (Surgeon and Health Policy Expert).
