CDW Canada spreads cheer at The Hospital for Sick Children with various donationsCoworkers give back to the community through annual fundraising efforts ETOBICOKE, ON, March 9, 2016 /CNW/ - CDW Canada, a leading provider of technology solutions for Canadian organizations in the public and private sectors, today announced it has donated $28,490 to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) through the Children's Miracle Network. In addition to its monetary donation, the company also donated more than 130 CDW teddy bears. Every year, CDW Canada coworkers raise funds as part of the company's seasonal campaign efforts to help spread cheer to children undergoing medical treatment at the hospital. Over the years, CDW Canada has raised more than $100,000 for SickKids and has been recognized as Donor of the Week for the second year in a row. "CDW Canada has been a proud supporter of SickKids for the past six years," said J.D. Hupp, CDW Canada vice president and general manager. "We are honoured by the dedicated support and generosity our coworkers have shown in helping to ensure this year's fundraising efforts were a success." On February 26, 2016 CDW Canada presented SickKids Foundation with a cheque for its monetary donation. The funds will be used to help support the hospital's mission of partnering locally and globally to improve the health of children through the integration of care, research and education.
