Carrefour Selects Teradata Data Warehouse Platform for Retail Marketing
PARIS & LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)-- Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the world's largest company solely focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics, announced today that Carrefour, the world's second largest international retailer, based in France, has selected Teradata to support analytical business intelligence for marketing. The system will include software and hardware and will be supported by Teradata professional services.
The new intelligence platform will enable extensive analysis of data pertaining to customer shopping history and preferences, and customer communications management. This will support Carrefour's initiatives in France to provide more complete and effective service to its millions of customers.
