Canada : ELBIT SYSTEMS gets supply Armed Forces Deal from RHEINMETALL CANADA [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Elbit Systems, defense corporation declared that it has succeeded a deal for rendering the Canadian Armed Forces with a mobile satellite communications system. The firm also stated that, it has obtained the deal from Rheinmetall Canada Inc., to supply ELSAT 2100 Satellite-on-the Move (SOTM) systems, over an 18-month period. The ELSAT 2100 system allows high data rate broadband capabilities at a cost effective price. It can be installed on a variety of platforms and is unique in its low profile and small footprint, Elbit added.
