(Bath Chronicle (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Gradwell - An internet and telecommunications firm employing 50 people which is now one of the fastest-growing technology-based companies in the country, and on target to break through the Pounds 5 million annual turnover figure at the end of its financial year in October. Rotork - A publicly-listed firm with more than 50 years of experience in its specialist flow control engineering field, Rotork employs 2,300 people including 350 in Bath. Its products are used in the oil, gas, mining, power and water industries, and the firm saw its pre-tax profits rise by more than seven per cent last year.



Lovehoney - Britain's biggest and fastest-growing online adult retailer, Lovehoney was founded ten years ago - with investment of just Pounds 9,000 - in partner Richard Longhurst's bedroom. In the last financial year, the firm notched up a turnover of Pounds 13.4 million and dispatches 11,000 orders a week.

Picochip - A microchip design and manufacturing firm which has developed world-leading technology for the mobile phone industry, and which had a turnover of Pounds 16 million in its last financial year, Picochip has been trading for a decade and employs 190 people.
