Also, Alfred "Bill" Diedrich Jr. has been named senior designer.
Moore and Diedrich each have more than 20 years of experience in their respective roles.
Brand development/marketing
Blue View Inc. has named Marci Roller as an account executive.
Roller most recently served as a sales manager for Egency, an online ad agency.
Also, Heather Elliot has been named a senior designer.
Elliot most recently served as an art director for Brothers & Co.
Food service
Olive Garden Italian Restaurant has named Merrill Overson as general manager of the chain's new restaurant in Owasso, which opens Dec. 8.
Overson has 14 years of restaurant industry experience. He has been with Darden Restaurants for nearly three years, most recently as service manager of the Olive Garden located at 7019 S. Memorial Drive.
Legal
Barrow & Grimm PC has named Timothy L. Rogers as an associate with the firm.
Rogers' practice will primarily focus on business and commercial
litigation, construction law, and fidelity and surety law.
Insurance
Mutual of Omaha has named Russ Kirkpatrick as district sales manager of the Tulsa regional office.
Kirkpatrick currently serves as a sales manager at the agency headquarters for Brian Askins' division office in Springfield, Mo.
Organizations
Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards has appointed Thomas R. Oare as its executive director and CEO effective Feb. 1, 2009.
Oare has served as senior vice president for MetroSplash Systems Group Inc. for the past 1 1/2 years. Prior to that, he spent 35 years with Citgo Petroleum Corp. in a variety of management positions.
Oklahoma Community Institute has named Janet Smith as a member of its board of directors.
Smith, economic development director for the Public Service Company of Oklahoma, joins Wes Watkins of Stillwater, and Jim Horne of Poteau, as new board members.
Real estate
Chinowth & Cohen has named Jan Orr as property management director.
Orr has more than 12 years of experience in property management and residential leasing.
Transportation
Tulsa Port of Catoosa has named David Yarbrough as its deputy director and operations manager.
Yarbrough was previously the Port's operations manager, a position he has held since joining the staff in 2006.
He also previously worked for the Tulsa office of PSA-Dewberry.
Also, Jeff Yowell has been named communications and advertising manager.
Yowell was previously an independent public relations consultant, and he has held communication posts with Gilcrease Museum and the Tulsa City Council.
