BuilderMT Launches Builder Portal

BuilderMT, the widely-acknowledged market share leader in workflow management solutions for home builders, today announced the launch of Builder Portal, the 3^rd generation of BuilderMT's field productivity tools. Builder Portal combines the features and functions of BuilderMT's successful Superintendent Portal and Trade Portal into one portal platform.

Using a "role-based" and Cloud-based solution set (deployed over the BMTCloud), Builder Portal users can access BuilderMT management technology through any browser and any mobile device. (BMTCloud is a multi-tenant SaaS (News - Alert) platform, which uses SQL Server database and supports both off-premise and self-hosted deployments.)

BuilderMT's portal technologies are already well-known in the home building industry for their ability to optimize staff and supercharge productivity of every worker, vendor, trade or supplier, and now Builder Portal takes this even further.

For superintendents, Builder Portal provides access to BuilderMT WMS Purchasing and Scheduling, whil allowing supers to manage various aspects of their daily tasks via the Web, including quick views of KPIs by job, lot, community or company basis.

Builder Portal also allows field review of construction documents, while offering seamless collaboration with office staff and affiliated trades, via a message center, without having to rely on Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook. Using BuilderMT's new Collaboration tool, Builder Portal allows trades, vendors and supers to use a single, cohesive tool to send individual (or group) messages and documents to any other associated parties across any number of projects.

Builder Portal allows Bid Management Views, so trade contractors and vendors/suppliers can review all bid details from the builder, including the ability to enter Bid Items and Submit Bids back to the BuilderMT WMS Bid Management Dashboard, while comparing bids across up to six bidders. Builder Portal can also track purchase orders, schedules, approvals, payments and much more for subs, vendors and material providers. Builder Portal allows access to all payments (and PO payment approval) by supplier, along with check number, invoice and purchase order number.
