BRIEF: Women report armed robbery at hotelNov 15, 2012 (Odessa American - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Two Albuquerque women reported someone brandished a weapon and robbed them at an Odessa hotel early Tuesday morning. Odessa police officers responded to the call from La Quinta Inn, 5001 E. Hwy 80, at 4:23 a.m., which was about 8 minutes after the robbery reportedly occurred, according to an incident report. No injuries were reported. The two women, whose occupation officers reported as entertainers, reported the robber took a $150 cell phone, a $300 cell phone and a $400 laptop from one of the women, and from the other woman, the robber reportedly took a $200 cell phone and a $400 laptop. It remained unclear Wednesday what type of weapon was reportedly used. Police did not respond to repeated requests for comment, and the women could not be reached.
