BRIEF: Von Deylen named president at Savvis


Nov 29, 2012 (St. Louis Post-Dispatch - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- CenturyLink has appointed Jeff Von Deylen ad president of its Savvis unit based in Town and Country.

Von Deylen had been senior vice president of global services and client services at Savvis. He joined Savvis in 2003 as chief financial officer and a board member.

He replaces Bill Fathers, who plans to leave the company in March. In a press release, the company said that Fathers chose to leave. "Under Bill's leadership, Savvis has experienced significant growth, both to its global footprint and product portfolio," said Savvis CEO Jim Ousley Savvis is cloud computing and hosted internet technology company. CenturyLink, the nation's third biggest telecommunications company, bought Savvis last year.
