BRIEF: Public art meets advertising: Riffs on Labatt Blue silos [The Buffalo News, N.Y.]

(Buffalo News (NY) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sept. 30--Earlier today, in response to the ongoing transformation of six grain silos into a pack of Labatt Blue tall-boys, I sent out a tongue-in-cheek request on Facebook for someone to reimagine downtown's brutalist NFTA terminal as a sideways box of Cheerios. Because the internet rules, I got back these entries within minutes: From Jon Hand: 10687074_10203622740862885_1146352886479565185_n From Mickey Harmon: 10698603_720028341396344_8688098884314013585_n From Kevin Niemec: 1888584_4469252106954_5756495848029087297_n Mickey Harmon, a local artist who delivered the first photoshopped image of the Cheerio-ized NFTA terminal, also produced this reimagining of the brutalist Buffalo City Court as a billboard for Flutie Flakes and Frank's RedHot Original hot sauce: 10689707_720057661393412_1657004960098006351_n Other commenters have suggested turning One Seneca Tower into an an enormous Tetris board or a Genny tall-boy. I'll add those to this post if anyone comes through. Meanwhile, if you have other ideas, feel free to drop them in the comment section.
