BRIEF: Port Arthur's Total experiencing power failure

Oct 22, 2009 (The Beaumont Enterprise - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Since 2:11 this morning, Port Arthur's Total Petrochemical Refinery has been without power.

The entire facility along FM 366 is experiencing the outage, said spokeswoman Pat Avery, and staff are in the process of trying to get it back up and running.

Avery said no injuries or other incidents were reported when the power failure occurred early this morning.
