BRIEF: Nampa man pleads guilty to trading drugs for Xbox [The Idaho Statesman]

(Idaho Statesman (Boise) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 20--A 38-year-old Nampa man who allegedly advertised drugs for sale or trade on Craigslist has pleaded guilty to a drug charge.

Mark Lee Waller is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 9 on a felony charge of delivering a controlled substance.

Numerous citizens provided information to police about the Craigslist posting, and Waller ultimately provided drugs to an undercover officer in exchange for an Xbox unit and some games.

Waller was initially charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, but those charges were dropped in exchange for his guilty plea. According to court records, he entered the plea last Wednesday, one day before he was scheduled to stand trial.

Nampa police recommend that people use caution when buying and selling items via the internet.
