BRIEF: Mountain House offers computer classes [The Record, Stockton, Calif.]


(Record (Stockton, CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sept. 29--MOUNTAIN HOUSE -- The Mountain House Branch Library will offer free computer classes for users who need to learn basic computer skills and become familiar with computer terminologies and applications.



Scheduled classes are: Oct. 6 -- Beginning Microsoft Excel 2010, 6-7 p.m.

Oct. 7 -- Beginning Microsoft Word 2010, 4:30-5:30 p.m.


Oct. 14 -- Beginning PowerPoint 2010, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Oct. 15 -- Downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks from OverDrive and Axis 360, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

General questions will be received at the end of class as time allows.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops or eReader devices to the classes and they should call first to ensure there is room in the classes, which will be held in the library at 250 E. Main St., Mountain House.
