[December 04, 2008] BRIEF: Feast of sharing Tweet Dec 04, 2008 (Odessa American - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- H-E-B is dishing up some holiday fare to the entire community for its sixth annual Feast of Sharing. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Buildings D and E at the Ector County Coliseum, the community can come out and get a free, hot meal. H-E-B is expecting about 5,000 people and the food will be cooked in a mobile kitchen on an 18-wheeler. "It's a celebration of the holiday spirit. Everyone is invited to attend, not just the needy and not just people from Odessa," said David Dowd, Odessa H-E-B unit director. There will be ham, green beans, mixed vegetables, a roll and apple pie to feast on. Entertainment by the Odessa College Chorale, UTPB Falcon Band, OHS Solamente Strings and Tube Christmas will be provided. Children can watch a puppet show, visit with Santa Claus and take pictures on motorcycles from Bikers Against Child Abuse.
