BRIEF: FDA recalls Chinese-made face paintsMay 12, 2009 (The Fayetteville Observer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Food and Drug Administration is recalling Chinese-made face paints because of recent skin reactions in children. The paints are manufactured by Shanghai Color Art Stationary Company Limited in Shanghai, China. They are distributed by Oriental Trading Co., out of Omaha, Neb. The paints were found to cause rashes, itchiness, burning and swelling when applied to the skin.
