[May 27, 2012] BRIEF: Deadline extended for internship program Tweet May 27, 2012 (Danville Register & Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The high school summer Advanced Learning Internship Program at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research has extended its deadline. The internship program will remain open on a space available basis, according to a news release. Applications will be reviewed until all spaces are filled. The program provides an opportunity for academically motivated rising seniors to gain experience in a professional environment. Under the guidance of an Institute mentor, the interns will complete a project of interest.
